Neighborhoods of World Golf Village 5K

The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village 5K is open to all runners and walkers. This event will benefit three area schools. The proceeds will be distributed based on each schools participation as follows: The school with the highest number of registrants will receive 40% of all monies raised, The school coming in second will receive 35% and the school coming in third will get the remaining 25%. Be sure to check the box if you attend one of the schools below.

The schools are Mill Creek Elementary, Wards Creek Elementary and Pacetti Bay Middle School.

Thousands of dollars in valuable prizes will be raffled off at the awards ceremony. Bring the whole family, we even have a discounted family entry fee.

The World Golf Village is conveniently located in Northeast Florida, 20 minutes south of Jacksonville and 8 miles north of historic St. Augustine off Interstate-95 at exit 323, International Golf Parkway.

Awards
$100 to the first place overall male and female. Custom designed plaques to the top three men and women overall, 1st place masters male and female, and to the top three finishers in each of the following male and female age groups:

10 and under 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 & over.

Family Entry fee: If more that 4 family members from the same household sign up then each child after that is free.

Packet Pick-up

Race packet pick-up and late registration will be held at each of the following 1st Place Sports locations on Thursday, June 5th and Friday, June 6th from 10 AM ntil 6 PM. Please indicate on the entry form where you plan to pick up your race packet. All timing chips must be picked up race morning near the start line at World Golf Village.

One mile Fun Run and Games for Kids

The One mile fun run will start at 9:00 AM. All kids will receive a Free t-shirt at packet pickup and then a medal for finishing the one mile. Kids will also be treated to an inflatable jumpy ( Moonwalk) donated by Parties 'N Motion (904-386-6229), and several clowns that will be doing face painting and ballon sculpting. "Chip" the Taco Bell mascott will be supporting the runners and walkers. There will also be a free slushy machine and cotton candy for the kids.

Grand Prize Drawings

Will be held at the awards ceremony right after the race (see prizes listed at top). Use you tear off tag at the bottom of your race number to enter the drawing. Place tags in the boxes provided at the awards area. You must be present to win!

Post Race Celebration

After you finish the race, there will be free food and drink, lots of games and activities for the kids, slushies, cotton candy, clowns, face painting and the awards ceremony. Chiropractic Therapy & Massage therapist will be on-site compliments of Dr. Berry
at The Village Chiropractic Center. Live music will be provide by Reggae band, King Eddie and Pili Pili.
