Vestcor Bridges 5K Run

The Course

The race will start at Hemming Plaza at the intersection of Laura and Duval Streets. Runners will take a quick loop around the downtown area and cross the actual start line about one mile into the race. The course is then out and back finishing on Duval Street in front of City Hall.

Packet Pick Up and Day of Race Registration

You can pick up your race packet and t-shirt at one of the following 1st Place Sports locations (you must select location on entry form): 3931 Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville (731-3676), 2016 San Marco Avenue in San Marco Square (399-8880), 2186 Park Avenue in Orange Park, or at 424 South Third Street in Jacksonville Beach (270-2221), from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 16th, Friday, July 17th, and Saturday from 10:00 until 2:00 PM . All packets will be moved to the starting area at Hemming Plaza on race day. Pickup will start at 6:00 PM. Race day registration will be held at same times and locations.

July 12th - July 17th - $25.00
$2.00 discount if you own your own chip, but chip number must be entered on entry form.
Day of Race $30.00

13 and under and 65 and over is $15 until July 11th.

Parking

Parking will be available in surrounding parking lots and along streets not be used for the race.

The Rock'in Plaza

After you finish the race, get ready for the Block Party. Hemming Plaza will be rock'in to the sounds of one of Jacksonville's top bands, the beer, drinks and food will be flowing, and the fun will be endless. So plan to stick around for the evening. The awards ceremony will start at 9:00.

Awards

Plaques will be awarded to the top three men and women finishers in each of the following age-groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 and over.
