Packet Pickup

Packets will be available for pick up at the following 1st Place Sports locations on Friday, March 15th and Saturday, March 16th from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Please be sure to mark your pickup location on your entry form! If you do not indicate a location, your packet will automatically be at the Baymeadows Store location. All packets will be moved to the race site for raceday pick up beginning an hour before the race.

Race Timing

The race will be timed using the MyLaps Timing Chip System (chip must be worn on your shoe during the race). Your entry fee covers the cost of the chip rental. If you have your own chip, you need to enter your chip number on the entry form, and deduct $2.00 from the entry fee. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results. Do not wear your personal chip if you sign up on raceday!

Awards

10K Awards: The 10K will be scored for the Jacksonville Grand Prix competition. Prize money will be awarded to the top three men and women overall as follows: 1st Place $200, 2nd Place $100, 3rd Place $50, and 1st Masters $50. Age group awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each of the following male and female age groups as follows: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

5K Awards: Awards will be presented to the overall male and female and to the top three finishes 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.

Course

The 10K and 5K will start and run together at 8:00 AM near the entrance of the cemetery. Both races will finish in a common finish area. This is a beautiful course through Evergreen Cemetery. The course runs through stately oak and magnolia trees and is about 90 percent shaded. All miles and turns will be mark ed with digital clocks at most miles.

Parking

Parking is available inside the cemetery for those who are going to stay throughout the whole race, and post race celebration. If you park in the cemetery, you cannot leave until the race is over. If you are going to want to leave early please park outside the cemetery!

Grand Prix Race!

The St Patty's Day Run is the 13th race of the 2012-2013 Jacksonville Grand Prix schedule. Runners who finish in the top ten of their age group will receive points to be counted in the overall series. Over $5,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded at the end of the series.
