Packet Pickup
Be sure and check the box on the entry form where you plan to pick up your packet. Packets will be available at the following 1st Place Sports locations on Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM.

All packets that are not picked up at the above location will be moved to the Evergreen Cemetery for race day pick up.
Race Timing
The race will be timed using the ChampionChip (chip must be worn on your shoe during the race). Your entry fee covers the cost of the chip rental. If you have your own chip, you need to enter your chip number on the entry form, and deduct $2.00 from the entry fee. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results. Do not wear your personal chip if you sign up on raceday!
Awards
10 Mile: Prize money will be awarded to the top three men and women overall as follows: 1st Place $200, 2nd Place $150, 3rd Place $100, 1st Masters $50. Age group awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each of the following male and female age groups as follows: 19 and under, 20-24. 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & over.
5K: Awards will be presented to the top male and female overall and to the top three finishers in each of the above age groups, plus 10 and under and 11-13.
Awards will be presented to 5K winners at 9 AM and to the ten mile winners at 10 AM.
Course
The 10 mile and 5K will start and run together. The 5K will finish at the 5K point of the 10 mile. This is a beautiful course through Evergreen Cemetery and along Winona Drive. The entire course will be lined with pumpkins. The course runs through stately oak and magnolia trees and is about 90 percent shaded. All miles and turns will be marked, with digital clocks at most miles.
Parking
Parking is available inside the cemetery for those who are going to stay throughout the whole race, and post race celebration. If you park in the cemetery, you cannot leave until the race is over. If you are going to want to leave early please park outside the cemetery!
Start and Finish
The 5K and 10M start at the same time. The race will start on Woodlawn Avenue and finishes on West Evergreen Drive in the Cemetery. The 10M runners/walkers will turn right just before the finish of the 5k to continue their race.
Post Race Celebration
Free food and drink will be served after the race. You are welcome to take pumpkins home with you after the ten mile race has finished. Please do not take a pumpkin until the race is over! Only one pumpkin per person!
Grand Prix Race
This race is the 4th race of the 2010-2011 Jacksonville Grand Prix schedule. Runners who finish in the top ten of their age group will receive points to be counted in the overall series.
