The Mandarin 10K is one of the fastest 10K courses in the South. Keith Brantly holds the course record of 28:40. The race starts and finishes at one of Jacksonville's most picturesque parks.
Parking
Due to limited space at Mandarin Park, please park at Old Mandarin Presbyterian Church located at 12001 Mandarin Road, one block west of Scott Mill Road. Directions Free bus transportation will be provided to the start/finish area from 6:30 AM until 10:30 AM.
Course
The race will start and finish in Mandarin Park and will do a large loop around Mandarin Point.
The course is flat, fast, very scenic and is USA Track and Field Certified.

Prize Money will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall, and $50 to the top masters male and female.
Awards will also be given to the top three finishers in each group as follows:
13 and under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 & 70-74 & 75 and over.
One Mile Fun Run for the Children
A one mile fun run will be held inside Mandarin Park after the 10K.
The one mile will start at 9:30 AM.
Parents are welcome to run with their children. Each participant will get a t-shirt.
All children who finish the mile will receive a medal.
Race Packet Pickup
Packets with your t-shirt will be available at one of the following 1st Place Sports locations (select location on entry form) on Thursday and Friday, November 13th and 14th from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm (7:00 pm at Jax Beach Store). You can register during packet pickup hours. 1st Place Sports locations are as follows:

Packets will also be available at the starting line near the entrance to Mandarin Park beginning at 6:30 AM on race day.
All timing chips must be picked up on race morning near the starting line.
Be sure to indicate on the entry form where you will pick up your packet.
CHAMPIONCHIP TIMING
This race will be timed using the ChampionChip timing system. All runners will be issued a transponder on race morning that must be attached to their shoe during the race or they will not receive a place or time. The transponder must be returned after the race or you will be billed the $30.00 replacement cost.
Chips must be picked up on the morning of the race at the starting line.
Results
The results will be posted on this internet in the afternoon on race day.
We will also post results at the finish soon after you finish.
Last Year's Results
The Native Sun Mandarin Run 10K is the 5th race on the Jacksonville Grand Prix series. The JGP consists of Jacksonville's best 16 running events. These races have accurately measured courses, ChampionChip timing, overall and age group awards, nice t-shirts and excellent post race celebrations. If you run a Jacksonville Grand Prix race you can rest assured that you are running a high quality event. Overall winners and finishers in the top ten of their age group will receive points. These points are accumulated through out the series to determine the winners of over $2,000 in prize money and age group awards.
