This event is a celebration of and fundraiser for the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra!
Registration Information
Entry Fee Information and Discounts
- There is a $2.00 discount if you own your own chip, but chip number must be entered on entry form.
- Make your checks payable to: Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. Please note on your check the event and the number of children participating. Then mail to: 3931 Baymeadows Road Jacksonville, FL 32217
Packet Pickup
Be sure and check the box on the entry form where you plan to pick up your packet. If you do not check a location, your packet will automatically be at the Baymeadows store. Packets will be available at your selected 1st Place Sports location on Friday, April 16th and Saturday, April 17th from 10 AM until 6 PM and at the Race Site at 4:00 PM on Race Day.

Race Timing
Both the 4 Mile and the Kids Mile Championship race will be timed using the ChampionChip (chip must be worn on your shoe during the race). Your entry fee covers the cost of the chip rental. If you have your own chip, you need to enter your chip number on the entry form, and deduct $2.00 from the entry fee. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results. Do not wear your personal chip if you sign up on raceday!
Post Race Celebration
There will be live music before, during, and after the races by musicians from the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra! Post Race refreshments will be available after the run between the TU Center and the river.
4 Mile
The 4 Mile race starts at 6:30 PM.

Awards
Overall Awards
1st Overall: A trophy and a JSO Passport good for 10 tickets to any combination of 2010/2011 JSO Masterworks, Pops, and Friday Fusion Concerts ($500 Value).
2nd Overall: A trophy and 2 tickets to the 2010/2011 JSO Friday Fusion Series (4 Concerts), including catered preconcert reception ($334 Value).
3rd Overall: A trophy and 2 tickets to the 2010/2011 JSO Friday Fusion Series ($264 Value).
Age Group Awards
For the 4 Mile, the top three finishers in each age group as follows will receive a trohpy, JSO Mug, and JSO CD: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 & 75 and over.

Kids Mile Championship
The Kids Mile Championship is for kids 13 and under. It starts at 5:30 PM, one hour before the 4 Mile. All Pre-Registered Children will receive a race tshirt!

Awards
The Award Ceremony will begin at approximately 6:00 PM, just before the start of the 4 Mile Race. Awards will be handed out to the top 3 children overall.
Finisher Awards
Each 1 Mile Registrant will receive a finisher's medal and 2 tickets to a 2010/2011 Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra Family Concert!
Age Group Awards
The Top 3 finishers in the following age groups will receive a trophy, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra mug, and a CD: 5 and under, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.
Largest Team Awards
$300 cash award will also be given out to the schools/groups with the most registered children!
