The Human Race

Come run one of Jacksonville's most fun filled 5K of the year. The race will feature a course that will start and finish right in the middle of the St. John's Town Center. This is a 5K Walk/Run followed by a 1 Mile Fun Run to benefit local non profit agency/organizations.

Packet Pickup
Packets will be available at your selected 1st Place Sports location on Thursday, October 7th and Friday, October 8th from 10 AM until 6 PM and at the Race Site at 7:00 AM on Race Day.

Be sure and check the box on the entry form where you plan to pick up your packet. If you do not check a location, your packet will automatically be at the Baymeadows store.
Race Timing
The race will be timed using the ChampionChip (chip must be worn on your shoe during the race). Your entry fee covers the cost of the chip rental. If you have your own chip, you need to enter your chip number on the entry form, and deduct $2.00 from the entry fee. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results. Do not wear your personal chip if you sign up on raceday!
Awards
Prize money of $200, $100 and $50 will be awarded to the top three men and women overall, plus awards will be given to the first masters male and female, and to the top three finishers in each age group from 10 and under to 75 and over.
Course
Parking
Please park in the lots behind Maggiano’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Please do not park in Lot C in front of Target. They will be open for business during the race. See map for lot locations.
One Mile Fun Run
The One mile will start from the same start/finish line of the 5K. It will begin an hour after the 5K at 9:00 AM.
Start and Finish
The race will start and finish near Barnes and Noble in the St. John’s Town Center located just off Butler Blvd. at Gate Parkway. The starting/finish line will be located on Midtown Parkway.
