We hope you will join us for Jacksonville's largest holiday celebration! The Festival of Lights 5K is moving to San
Marco Square and will be held the same evening as San Marco's Holiday Magic. The 5K and 1 Mile will both start
and finish on San Marco Blvd. in the Square. This event will feature:

Fundraising
New this year, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is encouraging all participants to pledge to raise funds for the pediatric programs at Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children's Hospital. Everyone who registers to fundraise will receive their own personalized fundraising website, which will allow your friends and family to directly contribute to your personal fundraising goal using a secure credit/debit card transaction. All donations are tax deductible and benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals! Anyone who raises $100 or more will be entered to win weekly prizes, including great holiday gifts!

Discounts
» There is a $2.00 discount if you own your own chip, but chip number must be entered on entry form.
» For runners over 65 and children under 13 years of age registration is $15 until December 10th.

Packet Pickup
Be sure and check the box on the entry form where you plan to pick up your packet. Packets will be available at the following 1st Place Sports locations on Thursday, December 8th and Friday, December 9th from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Packets will also be available at the starting line beginning at 4:30 PM on raceday.
Race Timing
The race will be timed using the ChampionChip. Your entry fee covers the cost of the chip. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top three men and women overall, the first masters male and female, and three deep in the following male and female age groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. The awards ceremony will be held in San Marco Square at 7:15 PM. Awards not picked up at the ceremony can be picked up at 1st Place Sports the week after the race.
Course
The 5K and One Mile Fun Run will start on San Marco Blvd. in the Square.
Luminary Lit Route
The race will be held at night, but the entire 5K course will be lined with luminaries. There will be a water station at the half way point. All miles and turns will be marked. Digital clocks will be located at each mile.
For the Kids
Medals to all children 13 and under in the one mile fun run. There will also be a Kid's area with lots of activities sponsored by Food Lion.
