Packet Pickup
Packets will be available at your selected 1st Place Sports location on Thursday, September 23rd, and Friday, September 24th from 10 AM until 6 PM and at the Ronald McDonald House at 7:00 AM on Race Day.

Jacksonville Grand Prix 2010
The Children's Way 5K is the 3rd race on the Jacksonville Grand Prix series. The JGP consists of Jacksonville's best 16 running events. These races have accurately measured courses, ChampionChip timing, overall and age group awards, nice t-shirts and excellent post-race celebrations. If you run a Jacksonville Grand Prix race you can rest assured that you are running a high quality event. Overall winners and finishers in the top ten of their age group will receive points. These points are accumulated through out the series to determine the winners of over $2,000 in prize money and age group awards.
Race Timing
The race will be timed using the ChampionChip (chip must be worn on your shoe during the race). Your entry fee covers the cost of the chip rental. If you have your own chip, you need to enter your chip number on the entry form, and deduct $2.00 from the entry fee. You must cross the timing mats to be included in the results. Do not wear your personal chip if you sign up on raceday!
Awards
Awards to the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age divisions: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over. Top Male and Female Overall, Masters and Grand Masters will also be awarded.
Course
One Mile Kids Fun Run
This event is for children under 12. Entrants will receive a t-shirt and medal. Runners will not be timed.

Parking will be available at Nemours Children's Clinic at 807 Children's Way, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
T-Shirts
T-Shirts will be provided for all 5K and One Mile Kids Fun Run entrants. Should the number of entrants exceed 1,000, you may need to visit 1st Place Sports the following week to receive your t-shirt.
Corporate/Group Challenge
Companies and groups with the largest turnout will be rewarded with a special catered lunch for up to 30 of their team members. Corporate/group categories are determined by the full size of the organization — not the number of race entrants. Categories are: organizations with less than 25 employees/members, 26 – 50, 51– 100 and over 100. There will be a winning team in each category. Write your team name on the entry form to participate in the challenge.
