Beach Store Manager

Jerry Reckart

Jerry Reckart is the manager of the 1st Place Sports store located at the corner of Third Street South and 5th Avenue in Jacksonville Beach. He was a standout athlete while attending the University of North Florida running school records in the 1500 meters and also the 800 meters and the Mile indoors. Twice Jerry was named a Division II All-American.

Since college Jerry has burned up our local roads winning many road races, including the 2009 National Breast Cancer Marathon “26.2 With Donna”. No longer content with being just a competitive runner, Jerry has decided to help others improve their running by coaching them via his Fast Feet Training Group program.
