Hannah Palmer
Hannah grew up in different places, but moved to Jacksonville permanently when she was 12. She went to highschool at Paxon School for Advanced Studies here in Jacksonville, and then went on to the University of Florida, where she majored in Criminology. In addition to working in our office doing race registration, she is currently working towards a masters degree in Nutrition at the University of North Florida.
Hannah began running seriously and consitantly three years ago. She thinks running is one of the best ways to stay healthy and fit. She participates in local 5k races here in Jacksonville and has run some 5ks in the Washington DC area. She recently ran her first marathon, the Shamrock Marathon in Viriginia Beach in March, 2009. Her favorite distance to run is 10 Miles, but her favorite race is the Gate River Run which is a 15K. She enjoys running in nice, residential areas like San Marco.
Besides school, work, and staying healthy, Hannah enjoys traveling, trying different cuisine and watching the food network, and staying true to her alma mater by tailgating and watching the Gator games! Go Gators! Go Tebow!
