San Marco Manager
Brian Doyle
Brian Doyle is the manager of the San Marco store that opened in August 2008. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Brian has been running for nine years and he has been with 1st Place Sports for four and a half years.
He excelled at Bishop Kenny High School where he was a member of three state championship teams. His advice to runners is: âBe patient with your training, you cannot expect to get fast quickly, it takes time. Make sure you do at least one really long run during the week.â
Brian, 23, has personal records of 4:29 in the mile, 9:38 for 2 miles, 15:59-5k and 1:17:42 for the half-marathon (which he has run only once during high school). His favorite race is the 5k.
Brian is also the outdoorsman of 1st place sports. In his free time, he loves to hunt and fish. You can usually find him in a tree stand at his hunting club or out on his boat fishing in the river. He also loves to golf. He really enjoys playing any time he can, so if you donât find Brian working, there is a good chance he is somewhere out on the fairways.
