Course
Kayak portion is 5.78 miles - starts at Walter Jones Park, travels around Mandarin Point to Mandarin Park.
Run/walk portion is 3.9 miles- start at Mandarin Park and travels
along Mandarin Rd, Brady Rd, and Flynn finish back at Walter Jones Park.

Divisions
Open Men and Open Women
Age Division: up to 29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over men and women.
Relay Teams-One person paddle, one person run.
Men, Women, Male /Female

Team competition - Open men and women plus Corporate. Must have three counting member in this division.

Parking - available at Mandarin Presbyterian Church across the street from Water Jones Park.

Rent a Kayak
If you do not have a Kayak, you can rent one for the event from Black Creek Outfitters at 645-7003. Cost of rental is $25.00. Rented kayaks will be brought to the starting area by Black Creek Outfitters. You can rent a kayak online during online registration. Link below.

Safety
A U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation device (life jacket) must be worn by each kayaker. We will have motorizedsafety boats on the water, but competitors must also render assistance to each other in the event of a capsize. If you rent a kayak device will be included.

Packet Pickup
at 1st Place Sports locations, 3931 Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville, 2016 San Marco Blvd. in San Marco Square, 550/7 Wells Road in Orange Park and 424 South 3rd Street in Jacksonville Beach on Friday, March 27th from 10 AM until 6 PM or at race site on raceday.
