With over 30 years of experience in fitting running shoes, our stores have become a favorite spot for exercise enthusiasts.

Customers are invited to stop by one of our four convenient locations and experience our 5-step Fit Process, which includes a foot pressure and treadmill analysis. All of our employees are experienced runners and are well trained to help guide you through the fit process. Our inventory includes Nike, Asics, adidas, Mizuno, Saucony, New Balance, Brooks and Reebok.

- Become a 1st Place Sports VIP Member and Save! VIP members can save 10% on all shoe and 20% on all apparel purchases all the time by joining the 1st Place Sports VIP Club. The cost is $30 per year. Membership includes a 1st Place Sports technical short sleeve shirt and $1 off all 1st Place Sports races. - The 35th running of the Gate River Run promises to be the biggest and best ever! Last year over 21,000 runners and walkers participated in one of the three featured events. The Gate River Run is the largest 15K in the United States and will once again serve as the USA 15K Championship with America's top Olympic athletes competing for $85,000 in prize money. The other featured events are The Florida Times-Union 5K for Charity and the adidas Junior River Run. Both of these events had over 2,000 participants last year. - Are you EXTREME enough? Think you can run a 10K in the morning, 5K that night, and a 1/2 Marathon the next morning?? Don't miss the Tour De Pain Extreme! This race series is designed to test your ability to run three different races in a twenty-four hour period. Your time in each of the three events will be added together to determine your place for the Tour de Pain Extreme!!!
